Only 8 months late, then...the front-runner in the conspiracy theory stakes (i.e. French people a bit miffed about the Olympics) has now been superseded by the Americans (needed to draw attention away from G8) - thank you, Herr Reeves. Not likely, but I'm always ready to blame the Shermans (Shermen?) at the drop of a hat. Though personally I think the butler did it.

At least my bro got on telly, all at the relatively low cost of nearly getting his head blown off. Luckily he didn't get in his usual carriage...of course all these serendipituous events mean more people find religion. Which surely can't be what any self-respecting terrorist was after.
